Mystic Flour is flustered and silently panicking whenever she thinks about Cacao, she is blue screening everything she sees him
Burning Spice is utterly fixated and keeps showing up randomly to try and get to know more about Golden Cheese via bothering her
Shadow is similar, but he does it more from a distance and tries to get other people to spill info about Vanilla rather than approach him directly, at least at first
Enternal Sugar is all up in Hollyberrys space, asking questions and yapping in general, very much yapper x listener coded
Silent Salt....well hes not out yet so idrk, but maybe he leaves little gifts for White Lily
And then you have the ancients whose feelings range from conflicted, distressed, confused, and intrigued

The Virtues have no idea how to handle these feelings. It's my headcanon that I'm pushing in this AU that they never really experienced love or sexual desire until the Ancients found the Souljams, which did cause a bit of an obsession.
The Sugar of Happiness and Hollyberry met first, with Hollyberry repeatedly escorting cookies to Sugar in order to receive help. Sugar quickly formed a crush on the cookie who helped other cookies but never asked for happiness for herself. Hollyberry, despite her best attempts, also found herself fascinated by Sugar and, yep, it's very much a yapper x listener dynamic.
The Herald of Change is fascinated by Golden Cheese's attempts to ignore the change he brings and, yes, bothers her constantly. She constantly tries to keep him out, and he keeps coming back. This does turn into a friendly duelling relationship that leads to them talking about the nature of change and such, which does help the depression that he forms.
The Herald of Volition, yes, bluescreens when she realizes that she might like Dark Cacao. At first, she's fascinated by the man who is resolute in making sure his kingdom survives and is protected, determined to do it on his own. He finally broke when a plague started and came to her to ask for help, which, like HeraldCheese, led to a friendly Go and tea relationship.
The Fount of Knowledge was actually introduced by Hollysugar to Pure Vanilla and falls hard at first sight. He ends up hanging around the Vanillian Kingdom for a bit, just to poke around the library and totally not to spy on the king and understand the sudden weird symptoms he was experiencing. But, Pure Vanilla can still recognize a lonely soul and reached out a hand.
The Knight of Solidarity and White Lily met in a village that needed help. The two of them ended up working together and ended up being travelling companions. They have a yapper x listener dynamic, because White Lily is so fascinated by this world and the Knight is fascinated with her stream of thought.
All the ancients are racked with guilt and worry because they all agreed that they HAD ONE JOB and it was AVOID THE VIRTUES. However, Hollyberry and Golden Cheese got over it fairly quickly, since they met their Virtues and Earthbread didn't immediately fall into chaos. Dark Cacao is internally stoic, but he is mentally screaming. White Lily herself is still very nervous and guilty about what she might do, as is Pure Vanilla.
There was an entire silent conversation between Hollyberry and Pure Vanilla when she and Sugar introduced the Fount to him.
