ur royal trio long winter except they go to the beach one january afternoon and sumire is so emotionally exhausted w marukis reveal and everything that to feel alive she walks right into the ocean and her boys panic going in after her (she hasnt said a word) and theyre shouting but she reaches a deep enough part to swim and the water is so still (weird) that she can float on her back and she stares up at the pale (dead) sky only for akechi to seize her by the shoulders and haul her up and start yelling about "are you crazy why the hell did you walk off like a suicidal idiot and make us swim AFTER you" and ren's already shoving him back and collecting her in his arms in the water gently asking if shes okay . eventually devolves into tooth rotting fluff bc in the middle of their heated argument midswim sumi splashes akechi in the face and he goes red with rage (embarrassment) and splashes her back and she falls into a fit of giggles and starts using ren as a shield. yeahhhh life is good when i think about them
