So my cousin works for Smithsonian Magazine and they have this American Ingenuity award for all these categories, and Lin Manuel Miranda won the History category last year, and she got to meet him! She kept talking about how sweet and down to earth he was, and completely and utterly charming. She said she had worked with a few other big shots who had gotten pissy about changes in venue for a photo shoot, and Lin was the only one who was understanding and relaxed about the whole thing..What a guy
