A thought
Would anyone argue that English (now) has no plural “you”?
Often, something else is added to “you” to -make- (imply) that it’s plural. You all, you both, you guys, you lot, etc...
Would a native speaker go up to a group of people and say, “What are you doing?” and be referring to everyone and everyone know they are all being addressed?
Calling all linguistically gifted tumblrinas to help!
This is from old German TV show (Alarm für Cobra 11 - Einsatz für Team 2 to be exact) and I always wondered what language is this? Is it one language? Or two different ones? Is it Japanese? Chinese? Is it some other language I don't know about because I'm a dumb European? Or complete, EU-made gibberish?
Google Translate is of no help and the rest of the tools I found are either uncertain or explicitly gen AI, which, no. I would love to offer better screens, but those are the best ones I have.
I'll be eternally grateful to anybody willing to help. <3
(I'm tagging for reach, so please don't be mad at me if isn't your language, I mean no offense, I swear.)

can anybody explain the pronunciation difference between [ʌ] and [ə] because they sound the same to me in every example that I can find?
