Biana loves her girlfriend, but she has no idea how she's supposed to tell her parents about Linh; they don't actually know she's not straight and she's scared of coming out, since Biana barely even knows what she identifies as herself.

Oh, and Linh is a mermaid.

A shimmering silver tail flicks water in Biana's face; Linh hides her giggle and it's the most adorable thing Biana's ever seen- she can deal with telling her parents later, but for now Biana is going to have fun with her girlfriend and there's not a thing on earth that can stop her.
