Do you think Linna's ancesters could possibly be fathoms? If so, how would she feel about their return as of the anni? Regardless i bet she would be very eager to listen to their stories of their journeys!

Hmmm

No, Linna is 100% Guardian, as she's a daughter of my progens. I've always thought of my progens as being spawned into existence by Nature magic/the Gladekeeper (Madrigal in particular certainly believes she's been put on Sornieth for a divine purpose)... so Linna doesn't exactly have any ancestors past her parents.

She personally feels a deep connection to the Tidelord and an affinity for Water flight (something her parents aren't all that happy about), since after all the Tidelord was the one who created Guardians, not the Gladekeeper.

Im still not totally sure on how to treat new breeds in my lore... I've kind of just been acting like they've been there the whole time and my dragons did know about them (especially since my progens are meant to be OLD, it wouldnt make sense them not knowing about ancients etc). So I think Linna would know about Fathoms due to being a big Water fan, despite not having met any before. What she'd LOVE to learn from them is if any of them have heard from the Tidelord!
