Selling art at a drag show tonight. I brought the Tique-Treat fam as a decorative center piece and I'm selling some sock dolls I made a while back.
I've been in the process of moving in with my mom. It's a long and stupid ordeal that I won't get into here, but the important thing is It's gotten me to go through a lot of my old stuff. Some of that old stuff are old sketchbooks and...man...looking through them is always wild. I seemed to have the same worries then that I do now about my work being boring or not well liked. But also it's reconnecting me to what I actually like to draw.
Does this mean I'll finally be able to make comics again? I hope so. For now...I'm going back to noodles and shapes.
Oh and also my wife requested that I draw her in Wrong Hand style. She's so cute.
Slowly, but surely getting my drawing groove back. It's been hard finding the energy or space to create. I want to get back into the swing of it though.
Sometimes drawing your characters being fixated on the things you're fixated on helps.
First Friday doodles. I might turn these into a story sometime later.
Some doodles I did recently. I was hoping I could draw more on vacation, but alas.
Might do a couple of these. For now here’s Lio.
