Miphlink Week 2021 Prompts!

It’s finally here. The official Miphlink/Lipha week announcement! After some collaboration and banging our heads together (big thanks to the folks who helped!) we finally have our prompt list. We’ll be eagerly looking forward to what people make out of the prompts!

The week begins August 1st and will go to August 7th! We hope this gives people plenty enough time to work on prompts!

We welcome any and all creative works, whether they be fics, art, headcanons, music, etc; and in any genre too. Want to shower us in angst? We looking forward to the pain. Tooth-rotting fluff? It’ll be worth the cavities. There’s no limit to how many prompts either! You can do a single prompt or all of them.

Make sure to tag your creation with #Miphlinkweek2021 or #Liphaweek2021, so that we can find it and reblog your work (and feel free to @echogekkos-writes​ or @ebony-mccloud as well for the reblogs). There may be some delay in a reblog, but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes on the tag. If for some reason we missed your creation or the tags did not work, feel free to DM us with a link to your post, we’d hate to miss what you have created.

Hi guys !

I haven't had the time to produce something for #miphlinkweek2021 's 1st day but I want to participate so I share an headcanon.

You know when you try to repair the lightscale trident, the zora who does it tells that he can't hear the voice of the trident anymore and there's this "united now" when you defeat waterblight.

So, I like to imagine that Link takes the trident to Lurelin in order for the spirit of Mipha to enjoy vacations and to compensate their missed Honey moon.

Day 1: Holiday

(Don’t know which ones to post. Second photo’s an animation. This idea was inspired by, Starfall, a fictional holiday from A Court of Thorns and Roses. I wouldn’t recommend this book series if you hate bitchy toxic characters like I do).

Miracle of the White Scale

“The King steeled himself for war to protect his people, but the Queen knew how ill suited for the task he was. Worried for his life, she wove one of her own scales into his armor, hoping that her love would protect him in battle.”

(I was honestly trying to look for the white scale on the Zora Armor. I’m assuming it’s the one on his chest. Did Mipha mutilated herself to make that armor? Jesus Christ. It’s so sweet that Mipha has always been protecting Link from harm’s way, even in death. I also loved that she never saw him any different after he became a knight, who carries the Master Sword. She never doubted him and still sees him as a friend since childhood.)

Miphlink week day 7 : headcanon

Day 7 : Free day

Hey guys !

I once again share an headcanon but that was inspired by this post (https://botw-headcanons.tumblr.com/post/164283774546/a-sad-headcanon).

I like to imagine that Link regularly tries to talk to Mipha's ghost near Vah Ruta with more or less success and that he tries to learn things about his forgotten life.

I also like to imagine him using Revali's gale to try to access Vah Ruta and Mipha being very confused about what he's trying to do.

Few headcanons

Miphlink week day 6 : Hateno village, Lover's pond ans Zora's domain

Hi guys !

I haven't had time to do something more elaborate but I wanted to share headcanons. (I hope my post won't be once again deleted from tags 😕)

Hateno village :

As the lightscale trident has canonically a voice, I assimilate it to Mipha's voice and I like to place it in Link's house.

I can imagine him seeing it as his most treasured belonging (look the guidebook screenshot I think I'm quite right :) and a trace of Mipha's soul and coming home after an adventure and telling "Sweetheart I'm home" !

Zora's domain :

I imagine Link blowing himself up in front of Sidon for him to see his sister.

Lover's pond :

I imagine Mipha's soul by Link's side (after all he canonically told "we're united now") and him replying to the couple : my soulmate is by my side.
