It's finally time! Without further ado, here are this year's prompts for Miphlink Week! The week will run from August 24-30, which gives all you lovely people two months to plan and create your entries! (Though you can also post at any time after the week is done, too!)
During the week, be sure to put #miphlinkweek2026 as one of your first five tags to guarantee that we see it! That way we can reblog your hard work and get it out to as many fellow fans as possible!
If we somehow miss your post even with that tag, though, you can always message @echogekkos @only-by-the-stars or @baradesign so that we can remedy that! If you're a member of the official MW Discord server (invite below the cut), you can also ping us in the dedicated MW channels, where there will be a specific channel for sharing links to entries, wherever they may be. Do give us a few hours grace to get to your post before you reach out, however!

Rules and FAQ:
Participate as much as you want! You don't have to do all the prompts, you can just pick and choose what inspires you.
You've undoubtedly noticed two new types of prompts: color palettes and music. These are intended to broaden the scope of what you can do, and encourage entries that go beyond just art and fics. Not inspired to follow the other prompts for your art? Just use a color palette, or make a moodboard with those hues. Or suggest/compose a song that fits the genre of the day! Are you a crafter of some sort whose artistic creations aren't drawn or written? That color palette might also be for you! The possibilities are endless, and we'd love to see anything you all come up with!
Miphlink cannot be a background ship in your work. Other background ships are fine to include, but as this is Miphlink Week, Mipha and Link must be the primary focus.
If you're writing a fic, be sure to tag it appropriately so that people will know if the content it contains is what they want to read. We'd hate to see you miss out on potential readers because of a mistagged fic!
We will also be creating an AO3 collection that you can submit your works to, that will be revealed and opened when the week begins. Stay tuned for that!
NSFW will be allowed. Art and fics must inform the viewer that the work is of that nature, though, via tags/ratings/warnings, with artwork placed beneath a cut just to be safe (we would hate to see anyone land in an awkward situation while scrolling their dash at their job, for example!). Works with overt bigotry of any kind will be removed from the blog and the AO3 collection, however, as we do not wish to promote such attitudes. Be kind and thoughtful.
No ship or character bashing. We're here to celebrate Mipha and Link and their relationship, not tear down other characters or pairings.
All kinds of genres and AU's are allowed. The only limit is your imagination!
All works must be newly created for this week. You can submit pieces even after the week has ended, but you cannot submit already existing works that were not done specifically for this week. Only new pieces qualify for this event.
AI generated pieces will NOT be accepted or tolerated. You will be blacklisted if you're found to have used any AI tools in your entry.
The same holds true for plagiarized pieces. If you want to participate, please put in the time and effort to make your OWN creations with your OWN efforts, instead of relying on a machine or directly stealing the work of others and passing it off as your own. Skill level (or perceived skill level; impostor syndrome is a thing, after all) is irrelevant here; all you need to have to participate is your love of the ship and a willingness to create. We're going to love and reblog your entries no matter what, as long as it comes from YOU!
Free Day is an opportunity to create whatever you want, without having to stick to an assigned prompt.

Summary:

As Link open his eyes, he find himself face with a red and yellow Zora girl with blue eyes whose ask him, "Are you still sleeping, daddy?" and Link ask in surprised, "What did you just said...." as a familiar voice speak, "Tatl, your father is tired." and Link look up to see Mipha alive before his eyes as the Zora princess ask, "Link, is something wrong?" and Link think to himself as he reach for Mipha, 'Don't close your eyes and make this dream go away. Don't close your eyes and make this dream go away. Don't close your eyes and make this dream go away.' Sadly, Link blink and he find himself in Parah's workshop as the Shiek woman said, "I see that Scared Stone has briefly send you to a world in which Calamity Ganon was defeated 100 years ago." and Link groans, "Why did my eyes have to close?"

As Link and his lover Princess Mipha explore the ruins of a old temple, the hylian knight choose to speak up to Mipha, "Said, when our wedding does come, Mipha, we are going to figure out how it should goes. Our people have different beliefs with my people believe in the golden goddesses and your people believe in Lord Jabu-Jabu. I'm not sure how our two beliefs would work in our wedding." and Mipha simply said to Link, "I guess we just have to find a way to make them work, Link."
