something i like about kate and how her depression is portrayed is how she's not just a sad, shrinking violet 100% of the time, she's also quick to anger and quick to assume max is against her, because that kind of trauma makes it hard to trust people.

i think showing that depression isn't just sadness, but can also be misdirected anger, is very important. this side of kate should be talked about more
