its honestly a real shame since i think TPP's thrmes of race and language were super interesting, and Skull Face was a great villsin until around the end, but it had so many problems and bad writing and characterization it just killed it. especially its reliants on Kojima's refusal to let go of nanomachi- PARASITES I MEAN PARASITES to move thr plot along
hard disagree on skullface being a good villain, he had the POTENTIAL to be one but in canon he was just like, a whiny cardboard cutout with a whole ton of sexual violence thrown in because kojima. the language stuff was neat! but the theme of race was barely touched on and honestly that’s for the best because kojima wouldn’t be able to write a good story about minority issues even if someone wrote 90% of it for him
