Lying (Lisa Snart X Female Reader)

You walk into the Cortex a small smile on your face and a cup of coffee in your hand. “Hey (Y/N),” Caitlin says when she sees you.

“Hey Cait,” You say sitting down on your favorite chair.

“You look sad,” Caitlin says standing in front of you. “I just miss Lisa,” You say putting your mug down on the table. Caitlin smiles and says,”Well looks like it’s your lucky day.” “What?” You ask confused.

You feel someone wrap their arms around your neck and you jump slightly. “Hey babe,” The person says and you immediately recognize the voice.

“Hey Lisa,” You say. She kisses your cheek and unwraps her arms from your neck. “I got you a little something.” You turn around in your chair and look at her. She puts her hand in her pocket and takes out a necklace. You look at it and notice it's a gold bar. You feel yourself start to blush and Lisa smirks.

“It’s beautiful Lisa. Thank you so much,” You say trying not to stutter. “Turn around and let me put it on you.” You turn around again and Lisa puts the necklace on you.

“There.” You look down and smile. You turn around for the third time and kiss Lisa.

“Thanks for forgetting about me,” Caitlin says from behind you. You pull away from Lisa and burst out laughing. Soon Lisa joins in and you can feel Caitlin glaring at you.

“Wait, Lisa where did you buy this necklace?” You ask.

Lisa looks taken back and says,”This store I saw on my way here.” You nod and Lisa gives you a quick kiss.

“Hey Lisa can I talk to you real quick?” Caitlin asks.

“Sure.” Lisa and Caitlin walk away and you get up to do some work. Twenty minutes pass and Lisa and Caitlin aren’t back yet so you decide to go check up on them. You hear talking and follow the voices.

“You have to tell her,” You hear Caitlin say.

“I can’t Caitlin,” You hear Lisa say. “How long are you going to pretend that you weren’t a criminal?”

You walk closer to the room and accidentally walk in. “Shit,” Lisa whispers.

Caitlin turns around and her eyes go wide. “I have to go do some science stuff so yeah,” Caitlin says awkwardly and walks away. You walk closer to Lisa and she gives you a small smile.

“So you didn’t buy the necklace?” You ask. Lisa nods slightly and says,”I’m really sorry I didn’t tell you before I just didn’t want to hurt you.” You walk closer to her and Lisa’s smile drops.

“Look before you say anything else I have to tell you something. I really love you (Y/N). I’m so sorry I lied to you I was just scared you’d hate me.”

You wrap your arms around her waist and say,”I’m not mad.” “Wait what?” Lisa asks. “I’m not mad Lisa. I really love you too and I understand why you would lie.”

“Really?” You kiss her and she pulls you closer to her. You pull away and say,”I love you.” “

I love you too,” Lisa says.

“YES OTP!” You hear Cisco yell behind you. You turn around and ask,”When did you get here?”

“Oh Caitlin ran to me and told me to make sure you didn’t break up,” Cisco explains. You start laughing and Lisa says,”Good to know she has that much faith in us.”

“That’s what I said!” Cisco yells. Suddenly, the metahuman alarm goes off and you jump. “That’s my cue,” You say.

“No,” Lisa says grabbing your hand. “That’s our cue.” “You want to save the world now?” You ask. “Am I saving you?” She asks. You feel yourself blush and say,”Come on let’s go, Smooth Criminal.”
