WHAT IS BEAUTY?
I was going through youtube to learn more about what is beauty. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. What I’ve seen is such a humbling learning experience.
• South Korean Woman Reveals Illegal Tattoos to Parents
This video demonstrates Grace Neutral (the journalist) gives a young South Korean woman moral support when she confronts her parents about her tattoos. I was hanging off the edge of my seat, it was intense. I was really surprised from her parent’s reaction. I have tattoos, and I feel is self decoration to my temple. To learn that it’s illegal to get tattoos in Korean was shocking to me.
• Acceptance of the Plus Size Industry
This video was very inspiring to me. I 100% agree that beauty is an attitude. I’ve met so many beautiful people-- inside and out. When I walked my first runway show, it proves that confidence and a great atitude goes a long way. I look forward to the next year, I want to start modeling more.
• Pretty Faces
The trend of plastering your face with makeup is somewhat a facade. These models being interviewed were so real about what it is like to be behind the lens of the fashion industry. They’re not pretentious, it’s just another job in which they honed into.
