[Literaryfest #2: Taking Cover To Get Drenched]

There was this girl who was about to visit her friend. While on the road walking at a leisurely pace, the sky turned gray. Having forgotten her umbrella at home, she made a dash along the road hoping to find a waiting shed.

The rain had started falling down when she finally had some shelter. However, she could feel drops from the roof. Of course, the rain turned into a storm and she was partly drenched. What's worse, a speeding car splashed the puddle of rainwater on her.

Almost an hour later, the rain stopped. However, the girl wasn't at all glad. She was completely drenched all over.

"Oh well, what's the point of taking cover from the rain when I ended up getting wet," the girl said as she started walking grumpily. "I should've brought my raincoat..."

[Literaryfest #1: A Slurp Of Mistake]

There was this customer who was a coffee addict. And since he was relying on coffee to stay awake, he would simply have it without any cream or sugar. And that was that.

One summer morning, he was on his way to work when he passed by the coffee shop where he usually enjoys a cup or two of coffee. But this time, he feels like having an iced coffee, for it was incredibly hot. So he walked inside the coffee shop and went straight to the counter.

"Uh... miss, can I have one iced coffee please."

"Oh, are you the guy who loves drinking sugarless hot coffee? All right sir, one iced coffee coming up."

But when the order came in, he immediately had a sip but soon thereafter, he soon made a face after the slurp.

"What is this? I could have sworn it's something like... herb?" the man said as he put the glass down.

"Oh, I quickly forgot that I should have put in some coffee beans instead of grass! Oh my, I should have coffee this morning but I quickly forgot that we actually run out of coffee! My mistake!" the lady at the counter said.

"Never mind... I could feel the chills already," the man said as he stood up and placed some money on the table. "Nevertheless, it was indeed satisfactory but I don't know how to run to work without having to shiver."

"Why? Is it too cold sir?"

"No, but I could hear some rumbling on my stomach!"
