🌻Solstice Diaries ☀️
Here’s what I did for the Summer Solstice! I celebrated for over a week because the energies felt so powerful. My friend came over for the official solstice day and we had an brief encounter with fairies. It was a fun and exciting celebration 🌳🌾
Mint iced tea with honey 🍯
This drink was so refreshing on the hotter days of solstice week. Mint correlates with prosperity and I added honey for good luck and sweetness 🍃
Paying respect to an oak tree 🌳
I found this one on an island I was hiking on and gave it an offering of water. I was surprised to see it was already making tiny acorns💧
Admiring the birds, bees, and flowers 🐝
I gave thanks to the amazing pollinators in the garden. Without them there would be no harvest. It’s sometimes hard to think of the harvest season this early in the year but the bees that come around are crucial. This St. John’s Wort smells amazing and it attracts bees 🌼
Visiting the lake 🌊
I swam halfway across the lake and back on the hw first day of summer. I loved giving thanks to this beautiful body of water. I highly recommend trying underwater meditation or meditating close to water because it is amazingly helpful🌲
Watching the sunset 🌅
Solstice is about the sun after all! I used the energy of the sunset for casting cleansing spells. Sunset, midnight, and dusk are also some of times that you’ll most likely see a fairy 🌞
Making popsicles 🧊
I used watermelon and lime for my intentions of a sweet and abundant summer. You could make magical popsicles with herb that match your intentions 🍉
Berry picking 🍓
I picked salmon berries and thimble berries and ate them for breakfast. I also picked up enough litter from this area to fill a large garbage bag to give thanks to the plants for their abundance 🍇
Let me know what you did for Summer Solstice! It’s one of my favorite holidays☀️
