[movie script stuffs!] I have questions!! not many because it's 1am right now but I'm formulating more, did they do anything with the four horsemen of the apocalypse? anything at all? or did they just look Death in the eyes, sigh and tell him they didn't have the time or budget or care about him? I need to know!! (also just any random snippets you obsess over or think about would be so so lovely, hope you have the most wonderful day/night!! :] ❤)

Nope, they made an appearance at Satan's side, said their hello, Death got to spin a little globe around and were promptly vanished by Adam after saving Aziraphale and Crowley while giving his "I am not doing it and you are not my dad" speech. However one interesting note, and a bit of speculation on my part is; Pollution is described as "A white thing dripping with ooze" which does not contradict the book description or anything BUT seeing how in the book Pollution uses he/him pronouns, being described as unmemorable while implying ambiguousness and how in the script gender specific language is used for the other horseman, I believe this could already have been the appearance of explicit nonbinary Pollution. But again that's just speculation and over analysis of language on my part.

As for snippets, got a good selection of them tbh. Every part of that atrocity either triggers my pattern recognition for how it tries to fit pieces of the source into new ways that don't quite fit or because, and again I can't stress enough how much the greater fandom will probably hate me for saying this, there are glimpses of things that will carry over in to the TV show and you can't unsee them once you realize it. If those stem from the script that had been written before and that we don't have access to, if it even still exists, or are just because of the author's subconscious, remains an open question.

However if I had to choose for the heck of it, the price for living rent free in my head would go to Crowley pretend flirting in the mirror, because it's just such a strange thing to pack in there and absolutely 100% absurd while also beautifully dorky.

Followed second by Anathema trying to hide her dagger from Adam behind her back, contemplating her life's choice and to bring herself to do what needs to be done (in her mind). It's beautifully dramatic and would have been a good scene under different circumstances. But also just the thought that she was absolutely ready to murk a child and only got qualms bc it turned out to be a child she liked.

And finally third, the one where Aziraphale just feels something is off with Crowley (got summoned into hell) and starts to run. It's so absurd and out of left field. And the imagery is just funny idk.

Honorable mention goes definitely to Aziraphale and Crowley having a walk on the beach, with Aziraphale taking to paddling on the water's edge. While it rains. And they have black and white umbrellas. Got ruined by Crowley idly kicking in Aziraphale's sand projection tho.

An other shit script thing that keeps me awake at night:

What the fuck is up with alpha centauri in that version?

It's supposed to be a place demons get promoted to. Satan literally is like "yhea why this fucking Planet (earth) couldn't God like care about somewhere interesting like Alpha Centauri ✨💅?". There is apparently enough of something going on up there that Crowley has an imaginary flirt in the mirror in preparation of going there.... But then Crowley also mentions that he wants to go on the run hiding there ?!

Alpha Centauri is a walking contradiction in this version. On the one hand Satan himself is all hyped for it and has apparently a few demon's stationed there, enough to promote Crowley to fiend in extraordinary if he went , on the other hand it's supposed to be the first place Crowley thinks of when going on the. And apparently it has restaurants and wine too. Crowley only mentions it not having GOOD restaurants and NO DECENT bottles or wine, so it Does have restaurants. At least that would be the insinuation. And I guess also a nightlife since the imaginary flirt thing?!

So, question is : what's up there and what exactly convinced him that staying on earth ( a planet that script!Crowley mentions to hate) is worth it? I mean Aziraphale cheated to win the challenge and Crowley knew about it. So there was nothing keeping him from not honoring the bet. I guess because the audience wouldn't have known about Crowley knowing and it would have been assumed that the viewer gives Crowley enough credit for integrity that it would have been believed.... then again we will never know bc it was never made and one simply acting choice could absolutely spoil the reveal of him knowing. Quite honestly it would have been so deserved (I wanted to say ironic but that would insinuate that the script had enough consistency for that) if Script!Crowley would have ended up going to Alpha centauri and finding it all the things he hated about earth but tenfold.

The recent discussion around a YouTuber film has shown again how little media literacy current fandom brings to the table. I think it's a bit concerning.

Even if it comes to GO I have some of the big meta blogs geblockt, simply bc they are so focused on trying to find meaning in (sometimes fabricated) subtext, yet they can't even see the text that's plastered right in front of them. (And bc I quite frankly don't want to read takes from a person that talks about fanworks as if they personally attacked them, not vibing with that mean girl spirit). The inability to just READ/SEE what is explicitly stated on the page/screen in favor of trying to make everything a hidden lore hunt is baffling.

Yes in many cases the curtains are not just blue, but reading between the lines is equally as important as reading the fucking lines.

Yes, fan theories are fun that doesn't mean they all have to mascard as deep critical analysis, sometimes they can just be something silly to enjoy.

My ass demands a very specific kind of chair so that my brain lets me be productiv.

Unfortunately for me that specific kind of chair is rather expensive and I am broke.

I'm so fucking anxious about my application at the UAS in Kaiserslautern (Germany) to study virtual design...

I feel like I am a shitty artist at best and not at all made for that stuff. Everything I read online just makes me more afraid that I get rejected ... Like everybody online is like 'yep I applied with a map with only A2 drawings and ofcours super great drawings I made in super struktured ways and they just had no other choice than to take me! ' and I just applied with some shitty A4 drawings some charckter sheets and some random drawings and sketchbooks because I never really had the opportunity to draw in a bigger scale because I'm kinda on the run most of the time....

I don't have the latest tec because I can't fucking afford it and my parents are dicks who won't even consider helping me out, not that I could blame them, they still think computers are evil and I am a moron to try and get into doing something with digital media ...

Further more I hadn't had a real propper job to this day, just easy stuff where I didn't need to study for because I take care of my parents (my father has heart problems and my mother just recently had a strok and is still partialy paralyzed ) and six nephews most of the time while my sisters are at work, I wrote this in my application ofcourse but I think that just will be one more point that just leads to my rejections ... I mean my graduation grades (do you call them that?) aren't the best either, I ofcourse have the highest possible education in germany, so I have abitur (I think it is kinda equal to AP in the us but don't pin point me to that) but like I said my grades are on the lower scale due to me beeing ha huge fucking idiot in the last years of school.

However I feel like I can't talk to anybody about that in rl so I just throw it on here, where probably nobody will ever ready it...
