Yellow: What’s a common writing tip that you mostly ignore?

“Write every day.” It’s a good sentiment and you should do it if you can. But if it’s just not working, and writing becomes a chore rather than a joy because of it, then you shouldn’t.

Brown: Do you have a set writing space? Or do you write everywhere?

I have a couple favorite places. My couch, my bed, the second floor of the library in the nice corner where I can see out the window. But really, I’ll start writing wherever you set me down.

Silver: Are you comfortable writing in public places?

Yup! Just so long as I’m sitting in a place where nobody can look over my shoulder.
