Writing saved my life. Sounds dramatic, right? Well, that’s the truth as I know it. I’ve been writing since my youth, always with a dream of “one day” becoming a novelist, but I always assumed that mystical “one day” would be after retirement. As life does, it gives the unexpected.
I want to exercise my demons by picking up a pen. It’s my sword of choice for finding wisdom.

Art Is A Trophy
Good art is a diamond hidden deep under the hill where we'll only find it if we allow ourselves to fall down the hill which top we try to reach
Sometimes I feel more alive down under the earth where I fell, where I start to feel even if it's all misery first
If I survive sadness & failure I'm gonna feel rich again
Sometime you gotta loose to understand the worth of winning And you will win
After you lost it all, you only can win.

Why try to read beyond the surface of a text ?
In a post from the blog Live to write, Deborah Lee Luskin mentions parle du Jonathan Doer’s last book : All the light we cannot see. She highlights the beauty of the writing and the maestria with which the author intertwines 4 subplots. She ends her article with the certainty that she will read the book again in order to understand how Doerr achieved his masterpiece.

He stood, wondering. What was it like to have a goal? As opposed to floating in the ocean tide waiting for the next tsunami to overturn his life? Maybe it was time he blew the wind and pushed the waves. Maybe it was time he created world destruction and moved mountains. Maybe it was time he pursued something instead of just holding on for dear life.
