Corambis Liveblog Master Post
I have Thursday off work and the house to myself, so I have decided to spend the day taking a bubble bath and reading the final book in the Doctrine of Labyrinths series, Corambis, for the first time.
I’m going to liveblog it! All my posts are going to be reblogs of this one with added comments, in order not to overwhelm the tag. You can see them in order here.
Doctrine of Labyrinths is a really good series, but it deals with some dark themes. I’m going to put a list of warnings that have been depicted/referenced in the books so far under the cut, and will tag each post with appropriate warnings as well as "tehhumi liveblogs dol”.
Now on to the fun stuff: Alien vs Predator!
the point is that the man is a goth
what did I say, it’s cause he’s a goth
that... no? I mean this part is about the Ainur sure, but you can’t talk about “sexual reproduction in his legendarium” and say that and fail to address the fuckton of times in which, say, an elf looks like their father? Which, that’s a lot. That’s a lot of elves who look like their fathers. You can’t make a sweeping statement like that?
*okay, pointed that the author probably meant the opposite, but... it still... doesn’t make much sense imo
