Hello from Ljubjlana, Slovenia! 🇸🇮 I honestly didn’t know what to expect from Slovenia. I just heard from other travelers it’s a beautiful country. And they were right. Upon crossing the border from Hungary, the first thing I noticed was the amount of greenery in the landscape. It was a stark difference from the dry golden fields of Hungary in the summer. I was also pleasantly surprised to see all the dragon sculptures in Ljubljana. My favorite 😈 The city's symbol is the Ljubljana Dragon. It can be seen on top of the tower of Ljubljana Castle, in the Ljubljana coat of arms and on the Dragon Bridge, Zmajski Most. The dragon represents power, courage, and greatness. I loved the Ljubljana Dragon so much, I parked right next to it. Okay maybe it wasn’t a real parking spot, but Athena fit perfectly right in that little nook 😹 I just couldn’t resist. What do you think? Don’t worry, I only left her there for 2 hours. They protected each other. Sometimes I research a place, sometimes I don’t.
