How… did you see the last hour of the movie first and then the rest?? XDD
I knew that if someone dared to ask, it would be you :*
I decided to go to the cinema, I knew my schedule, I had 15 minutes to buy the ticket and go in, count the ads and we have about 25 minutes before things start. So I buy the ticket, go in through the main door, the room was still closed, but it was a slow day, so maybe it was normal. I wait, I bought popcorn, still closed, I wait.
I look at my ticket. WTF it says :30 Why does it say :30??!! I’m 15 minutes late already? Oh, no, oh, no, but the ads will save me, the ads are so freaking long It surely...
The room is full, the people are seated and the film has started. I don’t dare to look where I should sit. I sit at the nearest empty seat and shut up, because the film has started and it looks like there is drama going on. Some girl burning someone’s draft of a book! Oh, my! I instantly hate this little person, whoever she is and just like that, the film has me in its arms. I guess the film starts in medias res. I can’t have missed that much.
After crying a lot the lights turn on nd we leave the room, I’m thinking about the film. It felt short, but I had come in late, so it is to be expected. I get on the tube... wait.
It is entirely too soon. When I came in I wasn’t sure the tube was going to be still open, but it is, it is very very open. Too soon. I take out my ticket.
I look at my ticket. WTF it says 21:30 Why does it say 21:30??!! I was going to the 20:45 sesion, what the hell happened.
I look around, I’m in the tube getting farther and farther from the cinema.
The doors open. It is now or never. The tube going in the other direction is there too. Time slows. Is it worth it to risk life and limb, pay the tube to go back, run in three minutes through the traffic too and try to get in with a used ticket? The doors are about to close.
I run out of the tube, I run through the traffic, up the stairs, I run up to the gorilla taking the tickets. He sees me confused, out of breath and with an already broken ticket in my hand but the right time written in it...
And the same room I just left is now empty, absolutely empty, it is just me, my wheezing and my bucket of kernels. The movie starts. I see the ads too. The girl burning the book is not all that bad, I laugh and learn to love all the characters I just saw go through a lot of drama. I reach the part where I had started watching before.
I stand in the middle of the empty theater. I leave. I reach the last tube.
Life is strange, but I managed to make it weirder.
