Red Kite - Diving In (and keeping an 'eye' on the camera) by Ann and Chris I think we can safely say this kite wasn't wholly concentrated on his target! Wings folded In full diving mode he clearly knew we were there., and was keeping a watchful eye even as he swooped down. Predication works both ways., and apparently it is only Eagles that don't bother to check over their shoulders before making the 'kill'., all other raptors do a final check first Of course there was another possibility., perhaps he was wondering what a Canon camera might taste like! ---------------------------------------------- Thanks for taking time to view, faves and comments. Red kite - View to a kill by Ann and Chris Well., if you were small and on the menu it would be 'a view to a kill!' But if your holding a camera it's 'come on down'., most larger raptors are quite shy of humans., Kites are not., Curiosity regularly bringing them in for a closer look. A sign of intelligence? that's for the experts to decide., but I wouldn't be surprised if it were the case http://ift.tt/2uIGrnt
