Update on career

I quit my job, through an email, with no notice. But can't work there. It's not a good place and fucks with my ethics while I am there. I normally always give a two week notice, however, I didn't feel it was necessary since I barely been there and wasn't even trained. I can't stomach going back in anyway.

I meet with my new boss Tuesday to discuss how the transition will go for xxxx County sobriety treatment court and court mandated clients. I loved doing sobriety treatment for my ladies at my internship so I'm excited to be part of it again, even if it's a different county and team. Mostly I can't wait to get back to my passion, therapy.

job hunting...

Sooo. I had written a letter to the job that I already had saying thank you for the opportunity, etc. but no thank you. I was so sure that i had gotten the ideal job... however, I found out yesterday that I did not... Which completely caught me off guard, surprised me and disappointed me. Totally was not expecting that outcome.. I mean, it had its flaws so I’m sure there is something more ideal coming, but man, they acted like it was mine. 

Tomorrow I have an interview for a director of social work position. Not at all therapy, but will allow me to continue growing my “weak” skills.
