୧ ‧₊˚ 🎧 ꒰ WHAT YT CHANNELS I THINK LEGO MONKIE KID CHARACTERS WOULD RUN - HC POST !!! ꒱
୧ ‧₊˚ 🐒 ⋮ Mk - Variety Content Channel !!!
[1] ⋮ Mk runs a channel of his own– But typically tends to make appearances of other folks channels! Such as Mei, Pigsy's.. Random people recording on the streets of metropolis as he goes about his day as a noodle delivery boy and a hero..
[2] ⋮ Mk actually does a lot of work for his friends channels! He's featured in a lot Mei's content as her bestfriend which doesn't feel very much like work to either of them as it's just for fun, but he created all the of the art featured on Mei's socials such as icons, emotes, banners, intros, outros and other fun custom artsy things!
[3] ⋮ Mk then also helps with editing, graphic design and other digital promotional media for Pigsy's Noodles! In regards to YouTube content specifically, he records some day-to-day footage and then utilizes his editing and graphic design skills to turn them into advertisements!
[4] ⋮ IN REGARDS TO HIS OWN CHANNEL.. Mk is a variety channel and uploads whatever he's interested in at the time! However, a lot of art related vidoes such as speed draws and sketch book tours can be found on his channel! A lot of it is typically Monkie Kid fan art or personal art of him and his friends.
[5] ⋮ Mk also posts gaming content on his channel, solo and multi-player with his friends! Many of the games revolve around monkey king on his channel as that is one of his main interests, but he makes content with some other fighting games, VR, and probably just dance too!
[6] ⋮ Mk also makes content centered around him reviewing these games here and there; but also some films like Monkey Cop! A lot of random stuff of whatever he's thinking about.
[7] ⋮ Mk tends to post whatever he's interested in with little to no consistency in content or a upload schedule; they're done in motivational bursts rather than consistent content– And that only adds on since he tends to be quite busy with hanging out with his friends, working at Pigsy's, training and saving the world. I'd imagine it's a lot of uploads all at once then not uploading for a while. That doesn't mean he isn't active on YouTube though, he watches a lot of content on there generally and is pretty active with commenting.
[8] ⋮ Mk would be pretty receptive with his subscribers, enjoying interacting with them in relation their shared interests! Responding to comments, hearting them and taking requests for videos here and there!
୧ ‧₊˚ 🐲 ⋮ Mei – Vlogging, Chatting & Gaming Channel !!!
[1] ⋮ Mei runs her own YouTube channel that centers around live streaming her chaotic life, interacting with her fan base and gaming!! She doesn't tend to create a lot of content fit for any other format as she simply enjoys live streaming.
[2] ⋮ Mei is pretty popular within the streaming community due to her energetic personality, the crazy adventures she streams and how interactive she is with her fan base!!
[3] ⋮ Mei commissioned Mk to create all of the art featured on her channel such as her icons, emotes, banners intros, outros and other artsy things! Mei also has moderators who help organize and keep things non-toxic and fun within the chat!
[4] ⋮ The majority of Mei's fan base doesn't fully grasp the reality that she's around doing crazy things.. Like the time she sneaked into heaven with Red Son most were under the impression she was actually just at a crazy escape room. It makes for fun gags and inside jokes within her community!
[5] ⋮ Mei is totally down to do collaborations and features on her channel; Mk is featured within a lot of her live streams and is loved within her community specifically! For her gaming content, I think she'd collab with other creators within the space! Her friends within the LMK cas besides Mk are also featured and mentioned quite a bit as she spends a lot of time with them as she live streams her life!
[6] ⋮ Mei streams pretty frequently; probably every other day or so! Having so many people to chat with and experience things with makes life way less boring and way more excitable whether it's her day to day life, whatever game she's playing she'd otherwise be playing alone, or instead of just being bored she can chat with her fans!!
[7] ⋮ Having a live YouTube channel also helps Mei with her self expression! She has her moments where she feels down about herself in relation to how she's been ostracized in the past and the responsibility of being a vessel for the Samahdi fire.. But going on live, goofing off and people showing up for HER makes her feel a lot more content and confident.
[8] ⋮ She does also stream as a job though, working part time at her family's museum (and getting involved in the buisnness in the future) and her other part time as streaming! She makes a pretty decent amount from how popular and authentic she is)
[9] ⋮ That all being said though, she ultimately does it just for fun at the end of the day!
୧ ‧₊˚ 🍜 ⋮ Pigsy – Pigsy's Noodles Business Channel !!!
[1] ⋮ Pigsy isn't very tech savvy as an older, gruff, traditional man.. But thought running some social media accounts would be good for business, including a YouTube channel!
[2] ⋮ A lot of his content wasn't very popular though; not having catch attention elements like thumbnails, relevant titles, descriptions, etc. And the videos themselves were.. A bit slow and clumsy.
[3] ⋮ Pigsy brought up the lack of popularity and attention towards his advertisements to Mk, who then took the main hold of the online promotional material with Pigsy's Noodles under Pigsy's channel and other social medias!
[4] ⋮ Pigsy doesn't tend to spend a lot of time catering towards their social media page; but on occasion responds to inquiries under the page regarding locations, events, menus, etc when Mk hasn't gotten around to it!
[5] ⋮ As mentioned earlier, Mk mostly handles the page and content on the channel! It's polished and spliced footage all put together ranging from small attention grabbing ads to larger form videos (like, up to a few minutes..) with events they attend in their food truck.
[6] ⋮ On occasion, I think Mk does get Pigsy to do silly little trends and challenges they could relate to the restaurant.. Pigsy isn't a huge fan of them typically.
୧ ‧₊˚ 📚 ⋮ Tang – History Channel !!!
[1] ⋮ Tang is a bit more tech savvy than Pigsy; but doesn't tend to hop online to create content a lot, he prefers learning from actual physical copies.. But sometimes also crazy history recaps on YouTube here and there maybe.
[2] ⋮ However, whenever Tang does upload content, it's related to Chinese history, literature and mythology!
[3] ⋮ Tang's videos tend to be long-winded and have little to no editing outside of text for thumbnails; he's typically reading from his notes/research directly and uses a projector for images for a presentation/lecture style of video.
[4] ⋮ His content is very educational and intriguing for history buffs, but a snooze fest people already bored by the topic of history.
[5] ⋮ Tang doesn't tend to upload a lot and doesn't get much traction on his videos, but he tries to not let it bum him out as interacts with other historians and history buffs in other communities quite a bit.
[6] ⋮ Since starting a food review blog; Tang has also uploaded some content related to reviewing food! It isn't picked up yet either unfortunately and follows a similar style of little to no editing, but in-depth reviews on the whole experience.
୧ ‧₊˚ 🌊 ⋮ Sandy (And Mo) – Wellness Channel !!!
[1] ⋮ Sandy had been on YouTube as a frequent viewer of cat videos for a while.. But decided to start his own channel focusing on wellness, mental health, growth and self-reflection in order to encourage others on their own journey of self-improvement some time after he adopted Mo.
[2] ⋮ Sandy doesn't upload that frequently; but whenever he does they're typically short videos with no editing that come off as very charming and genuine. They're almost live footage as he uploads it right after he records it usually.
[3] ⋮ A lot of Sandy's videos are recorded within his home, or in nature as he takes walks for wellness!
[4] ⋮ In these videos, he tends to speak a bit on his own experiences and gives advice to people struggling similarly. It's simple, sincere yet thought provoking in the way he discusses the topics he brings up.
[5] ⋮ Sandy doesn't have a large fan base, but his comments typically have a few people who share their own experiences or graduate towards the content. And Sandy always makes sure to reply to them in the most sincere, heartfelt way as possible.
୧ ‧₊˚ 🔥 ⋮ The Demon Bull Family – Family Channel (Turned later into a business channel) !!!
[1] ⋮ Red Son initially created the channel to bring power to the Demon Bull Family through social media!!!!1
[2] ⋮ Red Son attempted to blog their everyday and villainous lives. It didn't pick up much traction at first, but after Red Son nudged (hacked) the algorithm, they were all over social media.
[3] ⋮ The Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan became more involved and techy savvy with the channel around this time and began to create their own content to upload on the channel along side Red Son. Red Son tried to direct family vlogging that could come off as.. Staged and inauthentic at times.. To push their brand. DBK focused videos threatening his enemies and "the haters" and Princess Iron Fan did a bit of both, starting her own direction with videos and responding in comment sections rather than videos.
[4] ⋮ The channel then went viral as people made expose videos discussing how they videos were staged and inauthentic, DBK and PIF's aggressive behavior towards fans and their controversial history from 500+ years ago, which garnished a lot of negative attention towards the family, but attention nonetheless!
[5] ⋮ And then their 15 minutes of fame were over and the internet moved on.
[6] ⋮ Now their YouTube channel focuses on their barbecue buisnness. It's been doing decently well as their business has grown more successful over time.. Along with their history from before with the channel giving them a bit of a boost. Now other channels cover "WHERE IS THE DEMON BULL FAMILY NOW?"
୧ ‧₊˚ 🍑 ⋮ Sun Wukong – Fan Page Channel !!!
[1] ⋮ Literally runs a fan page/stan channel for himself on YouTube and across all other social medias.
[2] ⋮ It's a huge channel, but nobody is aware that he's running it. Even within the rest of the LMK cas. He isn't embarrassed about it, just very humble.. As he can be running a fan page for himself.
[3] ⋮ A lot of the channel features clips of depictions of himself from various medias ranging from films, games and parades! All with that bright, sorta blurry filter. Clips and typically longer length videos are also reuploaded onto the channel with parades and events he or depictions of himself are featured within.
[4] ⋮ He uses the community tab frequently for pictures of these and fan art! He also just sometimes shares random facts about himself from time to time, then people usually argue like "Sun Wukong would never like that. Source?"
[5] ⋮ He watches the content he posted on the channel all the time.
[6] ⋮ Sun Wukong doesn't usually respond to the comments at all, but he makes sure to read them, especially ones that discuss him or compliment him in some way.
୧ ‧₊˚ 🎭 ⋮ Macaque – Art Channel !!!
[1] ⋮ Macaque tends to keep to himself, but decided to create his own channel to upload on after being inspired and seeing how much joy it brings the LMK cas.
[2] ⋮ Macaque doesn't post a lot as he wants to remain small, undetected and creates content entirely for himself. He tends to conceal his identity within the videos by wearing robes that cover his face.
[3] ⋮ Macaque creates time-lapse videos of him creating art with alternative music playing in the background! It is certainly an experience considering his art style.
[4] ⋮ Overtime with his graffiti work specifically though, I think you can see him improve over time within the videos.
[5] ⋮ Macaque doesn't get many comments, but he does read them as he receives them. He doesn't reply at all though.
