#rambles #maybe I shouldn’t talk about this because I’m not black #but I’m an artist who spends a lot of time studying how to draw different types of people #and characters #and you can tell when someone has only ever drawn white people…#it gets on my nerves is all especially when I’m always looking for great Sam Wilson fanart #and I’ll admit I wasn’t always educated in how to do it myself but I learned and grew and took art classes and put effort into being better #but maybe I don’t have a rock to stand on in this topic ig #lmk ig

hi. so. as we pretty much all have, i've gone through the weirdness and the process of questioning my identity and whatnot and i've recently settled on the fact that everything is nebulous and confusing and actually i just don't really vibe with labels. so i call myself queer. except i don't really like using the general rainbow pride flag to represent myself, like i used to with ones like the bi flag, bc idk for some reason it just doesn't feel right. so i did a .. silly .. thing and made myself a pride flag for what i like. it's purple bc of te queer history surrounding like lavender and stuff. and because it's pretty. i'm sure someone's already done something like this, and i might edit it a bit more later, but for now, here's my take on a pride flag for the sort of nebulous, undefined idea of just calling yourself queer :)

#i have been having a hard time getting myself to actually do art #because creating things has been so daunting to me #but i recently lost my betta fish #and took this picture of his final resting place #and it made me want to #paint #which is weird because ive always preferred drawing over #painting #but im pretty happy with how this turned out ig #i learned that i can make a whole picture without cleaning the brush #and it makes this fun texture #because of the way i havr to apply the paint #i think im going to try painting more #if anyone has a motel that needs furnished with mild and nonconfrontational post impressionist? landscape #art #lmk ig

i know that dabi would be into nasty gross-out horror movies, and while i love horror movies, i can't stand ones that are just gory and gross just because. they make me squirmy and sick and i can definitely see dabi taking advantage of that. you're sitting in the lap of a murderer watching the most horrific and brutal death scenes possible play out on the tv in front of you both. you'd be anxious, maybe even actually scared. he'd love that.

personally i love the thrill a good horror movie gives me. the pit in your stomach, the shiver that goes through you when something bad happens on screen, the goosebumps all over your arms, and the squirmy feeling you get when you know something horrible is about to happen -- i love that. but being in a room with a murderer and watching those scenes play out? that's terror, and dabi would get off to it.

watching you hide your face in your hands, wince at the squishy sounds, and slowly inch away from him the more the movie plays? he has fun seeing you scared. he'd never really hurt you, but he knows that you enjoy being frightened. you like being scared, and you like him, so wouldn't you just love being scared by him? do his laughs at the grotesque scenes make your stomach drop? do you like it when he grabs your waist when the killer struts into the room, or does it make you break out in a sweat? either way, he's having a blast.
