Fun facts about my AU :

About Macaque :

Yuebei Xing had a long period where she hated Macaque but it pissed her off to be angry because he didn't deserve ANYTHING and so she just ignores his existence.

The twins hate Macaque.

Paramita doesn't care about Macaque in general but doesn't trust or like him (he was never told exactly what happened so he decided to do like his sister and ignore his existence).

Sun Wukong avoided talking about Macaque and ignored his existence since JTTW.

Macaque is an attention seeker so he hates that and made things worse.

Macaque was there at each birth of Sun Wukong's children.

He compared himself to the moon after Yuebei Xing's birth.

The uncles of SWK's children :

Yuebei Xing's favorite uncles are Ao Lie and Sha Wujing. She doesn't consider any member of the Brotherhood as her uncles. She used to, but things happened.

She HATES Azure Lion, Peng and Yellowtusk.

Nezha is the favorite uncle of the rest of the siblings. He has a sibling relationship with Sun Wukong but acts a bit like an big brother to them, so he is like their uncle/big brother.

Yuebei Xing considers Nezha more as an big brother than an uncle (because she knew him before his growth spurt).

Hi, I really love your art. Yuebei Xing's design is so beautiful ✨ But I wanted to ask you a couple of things if it's not a bother 👉👈

1) Who is the mother (or other parent) of Wukong's cubs? (And if they don't have a mother or parent)? How was Wukong able to make his children? Magic? A wish? (I'm dying to know 😭✨)

2) Is there a six-eared macaque in your AU? (If so, how does it get along with Wukong and his children?) Does Tripaka know the children?

3) Has Wukong ever confronted someone who said bad things about his daughter? If so, what did he do about it? 🥺

Hi ! Hello ! Thanks I'm glad you like my art and my inconsistent Yuebei Xing design. I'm always happy to have ask to answer, don't worry ! I love yapping haha.

1) I already respond in this post. I should do a masterpost haha.

But basically Wukong is the only parent, he's the one who made them with magic. Most of his children are “stone monkeys”. He took a “stone” as a base, carved it into an egg and then nourished it with his magic/energy (and more). He did all this randomly and intuitively and wasn't even sure it would work, but it did.

Yuebei Xing, Luohou and Jidu come from a lunar meteorite and are technically triplets but Luohou and Jidu were born later because when Wukong was imprisoned, the egg no longer had any magic to nourish itself and the children could no longer develop, so they put themselves on “time-out” but Yuebei Xing continued to nourish herself by absorbing external energy. That's why they didn't die. Paramita comes from a volcanic rock from the Flaming Mountains.

2) Yes, Macaque is there. In fact, he was there every time Wukong's children were born. He could sense their aura and when you sense someone with the same aura as Wukong, it's pretty frightening so each time he appeared to see what was going on out of curiosity.

He has a bad relationship with Wukong's children because he sees them as nothing more than problems and a caprice of Wukong's. His feelings are very complicated. He doesn't see Wukong's children as living beings but more as toys that Wukong has created for his personal entertainment.

He tried to kill them but calmed down after Yuebei Xing (and Wukong) almost killed him in return. The reason Macaque wasn't killed was that, at the time, the children's lives were more important than killing Macaque. (Yuebei Xing was very close to killing him.)

Wukong prefers to ignore Macaque in tribute to the good old days. He's really tired of being angry. Macaque has many feelings (hatred, anger, sadness towards himself and Wukong) and doesn't know what to do with them, so he continues to spy on the Sun family while healing himself.

There would be no shadowpeach in my AU it's platonic between them. It's still complicated but they're going to work on it.

Tripitaka knows Yuebei Xing and knew about Luohou and Jidu's egg, but he died before they were born. Yuebei Xing was born during JTTW so Tripitaka was already surprised that Wukong had made a child when he had send him away and wasn't comfortable bringing a baby on this journey. He was afraid of Yuebei Xing at first, but softened as time went by and especially when he saw her relationship with Wukong.

He didn't get to know the other children because he died first (Yuebei Xing cried a lot when he died) but the children heard a lot of stories about him and the pilgrims.

Tang hangs out with Luohou, Paramita and Jidu unaware that they are Sun Wukong's children and Yuebei Xing keeps an eye over the reincarnations of her former family.

3) The first person was Macaque and it didn't end well for him haha.

Yuebei Xing has mostly received remarks about her looks and Wukong has always defended her by getting angry at those who dare say that his pretty princess daughter is ugly and reassures her every time.

The monkeys at FFM think she's very different from their standard of beauty but they've got used to it. They still tease her about it and even though Wukong was quite upset at first, Yuebei Xing doesn't really mind. He still always tells her how much he loves her and that she's his beautiful little princess.

Apart from that, every time people say something bad about his children, it's mostly also to criticize him. It's by spitting that his children are like him and will end up destroying everything and spreading chaos.

That's what Macaque said the first time he saw Yuebei Xing, that's also what Zhu Bajie said and that's what Tripitaka thought very strongly at first. That's what many people think and say. And Wukong would shout that this wouldn't be the case, but deep down he was afraid it would happen.

During JTTW, he was afraid they'd put a circlet on Yuebei Xing so he hid her from the heavens, taught her to disguise herseft and told her that if they did, he'd be there for her and he'd do anything to get the circlet off her. If they imprisoned her under a mountain, he'd do anything to free her, she'd just have to wait. He would never abandon her.

She'd make mistakes, that's what happens in life because nobody's perfect and she'd have to face the consequences, but he'd be there.

He would always be there for his precious daughter no matter what.

He would do anything for his children.

I dunno if this has been asked before but Where the heck did Wukong's children come from?

In my AU, Yuebei Xing, Luohou, and Jidu were born from a lunar meteorite that fell on Flower Fruit Mountain. They're triplets but Luohou and Jidu were born after their sister due to certain circumstances.

Sun Wukong found the meteorite a few days after returning from his years of wandering to find Subodhi and become his disciple. A period during which he had wondered if there were other stone monkeys like him somewhere.

When he found the lunar meteorite, he thought it was beautiful and as an artist, he felt the urge to create something from it. That’s when he wondered if it was possible for a monkey to be born from this like him. So, he created an egg with the lunar meteorite and nourished it with his power/energy/magic (and sometime other things like his blood).

Nothing really happened and he wasn’t really convinced that a cub would emerge from the egg but he had became attached to the egg and his imaginary cub so he continued to nourish it. (He was kinda convinced that a cub might emerge from the egg.)

During JTTW, when he returned to FFM after being exiled due to the LBD, he found the egg and out of habit, nourished it with his magic. Then, POOF ! Yuebei Xing was born.

Paramita was born centuries after his siblings from a rock from the Flaming Mountains in the same way.

So basically : they come from SWK being delulu and fortunately for him delulu is the solulu.

Jidu "identity" in modern time concept.

He could just use his name but it's not funny. He loves being anonymous and the attention.

He's rich because he charges his wealthy customers a lot of money for customized orders.

Every year, he sets up a competition where the goal is to remove/break his mask with the help of gadgets and in the end, he sponsors the people he has found most promising.

People made a lot of edits of him. He won the "ultimate megapolis sexy man" poll on the internet.

Paramita and Redson HATE the "sugar daddy" nickname. Especially when their gang members can't stop talking about it. They had to make it a rule for their gang to never talk about him as Sugar Daddy or drool over him in front of them.

Sun Wukong children's doodles because I was neglecting them.

I'm finally satisfied with the twin's designs. I was trying too hard with the mask, but sometimes you have to keep things simple.

I was also too focused on making them look like triplets but at the same time I was too attached to my Yuebei Xing concept design and wanted the twins to be blond or red-haired, so it didn't fit. I wanted them to have at least one thing in common, so I gave each twin an orange eye like their sister.

I'm stupid about Yuebei Xing's design because I'd drawn up the concept design with the idea that her hair could turn black/darker over time, like some blond people who turn brown but then the black had to be at her roots and not her tips… I mistook the roots of the hair for the tips… I've changed her mask so that you can see SWK's mask and it looks more like the lunar apogee. I feel like I'm colorblind lmao. I can't choose the right color palette.

Paramita is Paramita.

I'll probably change a few small details but certainly not any major changes.

I can finally draw some lore now that the designs are okay.
