...why did you put the name you gave me on it?
"Because it's yours. Because it's his."
...but I'm right here?
"You are. But you're here, too. A part of you, anyways."
As we were walking, we were getting lost in the forest of decisions, unable to find the right path.
As we got older, we realized that we had to be more careful in those decisions.
We fell apart, we got broken.
Fun facts about my AU :
About Macaque :
Yuebei Xing had a long period where she hated Macaque but it pissed her off to be angry because he didn't deserve ANYTHING and so she just ignores his existence.
The twins hate Macaque.
Paramita doesn't care about Macaque in general but doesn't trust or like him (he was never told exactly what happened so he decided to do like his sister and ignore his existence).
Sun Wukong avoided talking about Macaque and ignored his existence since JTTW.
Macaque is an attention seeker so he hates that and made things worse.
Macaque was there at each birth of Sun Wukong's children.
He compared himself to the moon after Yuebei Xing's birth.
The uncles of SWK's children :
Yuebei Xing's favorite uncles are Ao Lie and Sha Wujing. She doesn't consider any member of the Brotherhood as her uncles. She used to, but things happened.
She HATES Azure Lion, Peng and Yellowtusk.
Nezha is the favorite uncle of the rest of the siblings. He has a sibling relationship with Sun Wukong but acts a bit like an big brother to them, so he is like their uncle/big brother.
Yuebei Xing considers Nezha more as an big brother than an uncle (because she knew him before his growth spurt).
LMK S4 SPOILERS!!

Sure it could just be a different scarf entirely but STILL!!
(At least I think it's a scarf please correct me if I'm wrong)
So apparently this is a thing? Lego Monkie (why is it spelled like that) Kid has multiple characters from Sun Wukong’s mythos, including both the Bull King and Macaque. In the original mythos, Bull King was a good friend and then went mad and had to be captured before Heaven. Macaque was just some dude who imitated Sun once and then was pretty soon after killed by Sun. However, in the show, they switched it; Bull King appears to be a long time enemy, and Macaque is implied to have been a friend once.
Some people theorize that Bull King still was a friend in the show, and Macaque’s thing is just nonsense. So that’s sort of what I’m going with. While the group is on that alternate dead Earth, Tao brings up that Mac says he was once Sun’s friend, and Sun calls him out like the liar he is. Poor Mac–he just wanted to pretend to be more important to the Monkey King’s story than he actually is. Being Sun’s rival is his Big Thing, you know. He’s just a really dedicated, somewhat evil fanboy, like Buddy/Syndrome from the Incredibles. Aw, no, did you get embarrassed in front of your new potential human friend? How sad. I love Mac, but you can’t really blame Sun for being annoyed at the level of obsession. If you can’t read the words, a script is below the cut.
(NOT SHADOWPEACH)
Tao: Mac was saying you used to be friends?
Sun: Pfft, what? I barely know the guy.
Mac: What? How can you say that?
Sun: You just showed up one day pretending to be me! And then when we fought and you lost, you ran off screaming about us being rivals or something.
Mac: Wait, that’s not…
Sun: You know who was my friend and became my enemy? Bull King. Now known as Demon Bull King, if you’ll remember.
Mac: That’s not fair!
Sun: Is it that you’re so obsessed you think rivalry is friendship, or are you seriously trying to gaslight me into thinking you’re Bull King? Wow. I know you’re into identity theft, but you are something else, bud.
