WORLDBUILDING. stormtrooper designations.

All of the prototype Stormtroopers trained by Brendol Hux immediately after the fall of the Empire have the designation PS-_____, standing for just that — prototype stormtrooper. Their numbers began at 001 and increased from there. Those few that survived to adulthood without failing the program achieved command positions, and had the very very rare chance to use their ‘trooper nickname as an actual name. 

At the time the program was no longer simply in testing and began serious implementation, the first cohort of troopers trained were given the designation AA-____; the second was AB-_____; the third was AC-____; the twenty-seventh was BA-______; etc.
