There is soooooo much emotion in his face right here. There's shock, horror, shame, disgust the works in those eyes. Regardless of the fact that Kronos was the one rough-handling Persephone, those are still his hand marks bruising her throat. It was his body that did it, so naturally, he blames himself.

Some might perceive these as borderline sexy shots, but this isn't about sex at all. It's about comforting through touch instead of words.

So I know people are already ragging on Persephone for how she treated Leuce, but I saw it as her ensuring that Leuce doesn’t try meddling with her marriage again. If she had taken the high road, Leuce would have probably seen her actions as okay and try to hit on Hades again and again. Persephone had to nip this in the bud before it escalated. And honestly, she could have done something much worse than bring a bunch of animals into Leuce’s apartment.

In her time as the first (and only) Queen of the Underworld, Leuce truly cared for all her citizens. Her outreach efforts and dedication to the realm were felt by everyone. And in turn, the realm showed their love for her. It was even said that Leuce loved the Underworld more than her husband, Hades.

After their sudden separation, she left the Underworld and never returned. The space she left is still felt by her citizens. Especially Hades.
