One of the 10 views of Okita, a village in the district of Ichinoseki, near to the planned ILC. According to this sign, it is part of the Ichinoseki lively community project. This view is number 2. A flyer for a photo-event picked up in Orikabe town taking place in Ichinoseki and Hiraizumi. The flyer suggests both locations are photogenic. Rephotographing the location in the main visual (a river bank in Ichinoseki), one finds a construction site. Seems the river banks are being repaired, a process evident in July during our previous trip here. I hope that construction sites qualify as 'photogenic'. 17 September 2022. Sony RX100 5A. A public noticeboard in Orikabe Town in Ichinoseki greater district, bordering Kesennuma. The town's location is near the south end of the proposed ILC. Just because it's empty doesn't mean nothing is happening in this town. There are schools and houses. It's possible that information may be shared by social media groups instead. 16 September 2022.
