Renting a house in Maylands;
Get a load of this.
From Debbie & Laurie;"MatthewAs per your lease agreement, you are required to move out this Friday, 23rd June and no later. No extension of your lease is possible due to an unacceptable standard of cleanliness and total disregard of other tenants and total disrespect of the property.
I cleaned up the kitchen on Saturday afternoon as Ruby was not able to cook in there. All communal areas were also in need of cleaning. I did not go into your bedroom but I would presume that is as bad.
You have indicated that you need your bond back for your next accommodation, however IF you receive any bond back it will not be given to you straight away as I need to do an inspection first and finalise everything. Usually it takes about 2 weeks to do this. In your case, unless you decide to clean it up yourself, I will be getting professional cleaners at $40 per hour and it will probably take them at least 4 hours to clean up the mess you have made. You will also be charged to unblock the toilet which was obviously caused by you.
The following is a list of what you need to do before you move out –
Make sure your bedroom is clean, wash sheets and pillow cases and leave folded up on the bed. Dust and vacuum.
Clean the toilet, remove all toilet rolls and clean the toilet bowl and seat. Clean the hand basin, vacuum and wash floor
Clean the bathroom, wash towels and leave folded up on your bed, vacuum and wash floor
Clean the lounge area, dust and wipe over everything, remove any rubbish, vacuum and wash floor
Kitchen – everything must be completely cleaned, all rubbish removed and bins washed out. One of the bins is downstairs as it smelt. Clean inside and outside of fridge and remove unwanted food. (Ruby should also do this). Clean stove, hotplates and rangehood. Wipe over cupboard doors. Clean benchtops, microwave and both sinks. Do not leave any plates, cups and bowls unwashed and not put away.
Remove all your food.
Clean red table, dining table and placemats and make sure no rubbish is left anywhere.
Dust window sills, Vacuum all floors and wash floors well.
I have attached a statement for you but final costs are still to be put in. You last paid rent on 14th June which was more than required to 23 June however still owed $5 from not paying enough bond.
I expect you to have all the above done by Friday, leave keys on the dining table when you go on the 23 June and send me your bank details. I will do the final inspection on Saturday sometime."
No you are wrong, I am up to date with my bond, Laurie should have my bank details and I can do all of that cleaning, I will need that bank transfer back sooner than that as it doesn't take that long to do a bank transfer and I am paid up until AFTER June 23 and June 30 is the agreed move out date
"Your statement is attached with the additional $5 bond paid on 23/5
No, you will need to go on 23 June. I have spoken to Laurie and he agrees with me. As stated, the bond will NOT be available until AFTER I inspect the apartment and am satisfied that it has been cleaned thoroughly
IF you do all the cleaning I have mentioned and I am satisfied, then I will pay your bond back on the Monday 26th June, this is the earliest. I all keys are not left and there is anything not done, then it will be deducted. I recommend you take photos once you clean it, as I have already done.

Bedroom just as bad is it?I was cleaning the room and the vacuum cleaner died on me so I will need a new ASAP as the vacuum cleaner doesn't work and will NOT turn on. I can't vacuum the room without a working vacuum cleaner, and for the attitude;
I have given you two nearly 2 thousand dollars now in under 3 months, this was advertised as a long term stay, which isn't true.YOU provided ME with bed bugs, and were quite rude about it, even insulting, when I was nice the whole time.
I do not like the bias and lopsided opinions that my housemates were/ or are providing you two, as most of them are completely unfounded and hold no truth or fact just a melodramatic over exaggeration of blowing things out of proportion.
Now when you try to make things out to be as bad as they ARE, when they are NOT as bad as what they actually ARE.
For example going on about how the place is such a mess, no it's not. Not that bad at all.
It is completely NORMAL for a house to get dirty, as it gets cleaned up again.
Now back to the housemates, they were complaining about me sleeping on the couch so my body could recover and heal, and this talk about the way I was speaking to them is a blatant LIE.
I have offered them food, alcohol and have greeted them with hello, morning, have a good day/night etc, so to hear this is completely UNFOUNDED and shows how immature they really are.
