Now that Mojang is taking player feedback into consideration and changing the Loadstone’s recipe to be affordable and convenient:

I thought it’s about time to bring up the two things I want MOST in a future update to Minecraft.

1. I want chiseled bookshelves to display the name of the book if you hover over it with your cursor.

I know this is possible with mods, but I don’t wanna deal with mods this should be in the vanilla game! I have ADHD. Once I put a book in a bookshelf it’s essentially gone cuz I’ll never remember what book it was and the ONLY way to check is to take it out and put it back constantly.

Also, I’m building a library and it would be REALLY HELPFUL if you could just browse the shelves like a real library and pull the correct books from the shelves as you peruse it.

2. A “Classic” terrain biome.

I just think if you made a biome that mimicked what we loved about classic Minecraft, you’d get a lot of classic Minecraft players being able to enjoy the newer version and vice versa.

Again, I know this is possible with mods, but I don’t wanna deal with mods. I think a biome that looks like this would be PERFECT for modern Minecraft.

God can you imagine? You’re playing your new version and you just got out of a pale garden with the creaking and you’re traveling up and down mountains that stretch to the heavens and wandering under cherry blossom hills and then suddenly… all of the grass turns neon, the terrain gets shorter and broken up, the seas turn barren and the landscape is dotted with just oak trees and nothing else. Not even short or tall grass. Suddenly you’re just.. back home.
