Our nighttime intruder! We were told to not leave food on the bench cause of local marsupial mice (antechinus or root rats). This morning I found my coffee cup, which was left on the coffee maker for the morning, with sugar in it, TAKEN OFF THE COFFEE MAKER AND CLEANED OUT. Then tonight we saw a little sugar glider just outside the kitchen window. Then after heading to bed, something fell in the kitchen. Rob goes to check and is confronted with the intruder! No root rats, just a little sugar glider had knocked my travel mug off the bench. We stayed watching it for over an hour til it finally left. Foraged a chicken-of-the-woods mushroom today. First time but I think I did okay. It weighed about 5 lbs and I managed to get 36 oz of cooked shroom, all told.
