Go look at a picture of Bern, Switzerland and try to tell me that the walls aren't in Switzerland

The walls aren’t in Switzerland, they’re on pages of a manga. :P

(They’re based on walls in Germany, but that doesn’t mean they’re actually in Germany, after all. When it comes to exactly where the manga/anime takes place, there are plenty of theories floating around. There are no definitive answers.)

As for Bern, Switzerland in particular: The buildings (especially the rooftops and scenery) do look a lot like the anime. My guess is they used pictures from there as references for the animation’s scenery/world, since the anime gets to flesh it out a little more than the manga.

I’m just hella happy cause the location theory was damn right. I doubt they’re gonna do anything special more than hide there but…since the episode felt like all our fan ideas come to life…I will scream if they actually follow my doodle idea and jump into the pool. Wishful thinking. Otherwise, wasted opportunity.

Look at the ep 1 when they show the 3 walls on earth,make note of the bodies of waters and land shapes. After that, look at the map of Iceland and the north pole, the walls are placed in the north of earth, this means the north wall is the northpole

My theory is that {the walls) takes place in ice land. Make note of the grassy large plains and terrain, given that characters having European names and the location from which they came was the south (great Britain,France,Germany). My theory ^ :)
