8:40, October 8th

While the storm that shook the forest so violently that some trees were uprooted has subsided into light rain, the land surrounding it still suffers from the aftermath. Firstly, everything is draped in a glowing haze. While it may shock some at a quick glance, the fog itself is completely harmless. Inside of it however, somewhere in the abyss- is a voice that cries for assistance every few seconds or so. If one were to pursue after it, they might find that no matter where they go, the source is unidentified. 

Of course, they might also notice a pair of eyes are always watching them, but we can only hope they don't see that.

3:25 am, October 2nd

I heard something this morning. It woke me from my slumber and left me shaking in the darkness. From what I believe, it was the bell-clock tower. Thrice times it had rang before completely stopping and leaving only it's eerie echo. I was so frightened I got up to retrieve my mother. She was very stern with me when I awoke her and explained that it had gone off and that I was scared. Scolding me with a cold tone, she had hissed that it never went off unless a priest manually pulled the bell. She then proceeded to tell me I was a growing girl and these stories needed to stop before father would whip me.

I had been dismissed by her harsh words and had gone back to my bed.                  I can still hear it.                        The bell still rings.
