#foodnotcoal #lockthegate We need our farming land for food
The people have spoken.. Gina Rinehart you are not welcome to frack the Northern Territory, nor any other place in Australia. This sacred country and land is not yours to take. Not yours to frack. Not yours to exploit. Not yours to use for monetary profit. Not yours full stop. Go away and get some perspective. CSG and fossil fuels is not only a very dangerous industry for the sake of our water quality and conservation, but it is also a dead industry. The coastline of the NT has copped enough lately. It doesn't need any more destruction. Protect what you love y'all. 🐢 Photo | my sista on ground Carla Harp 🌞 #frackoff #powertothepeople #lockthegate #sacredcountry #ginarinehart (at Mataranka, Northern Territory)
One of the #knittingnanas has "locked on" at the gates of NSW Parliament House #nswpol #sydney #lockthegate #reportage (at Parliament of NSW)
As Victorian parliament resumed today, farmers and anti-coal seam activists rallied on parliament house steps to demand a total ban on fracking in the state. Strong community concern has led to a moratorium on the practice and prompted a state government inquiry into the effect of the drilling. 70 communities in Victoria have declared themselves “gasfield free” as a symbolic statement they oppose the industry they fear will have devastating effects on their community, farmland and water resources. The Victorian government will decide in the coming months whether to lift the current ban on onshore gas drilling.

Good news about the temporary cancellation of licence to Metagasco & their drilling , But - I hate to play devils advocate, Still turn up - the 800 riot police could still come and try move everyone on Monday , and the cops could still close the rode Saturday afternoon . We are getting closer 👭 #lockthegate @dustinthomas 📷 @madisondube
