I'm back from Neurology, Ohio, where I died. Imaging confirms that my brain has developed no immediately-verifiable new problems to deal with.

However, upon hearing about my birth control problem, they decided that they wanted to check my tumor (they have some of it, in a Receptacle) for receptors for progestin. Because what if some of it is still in its original Receptacle, my skull? These receptors, if present, could, under the influence of birth control, potentially stimulate it in ways that eventually cause damage to the Receptacle's other contents.

The cats are mad because I was gone overnight.

They gave me metoprolol to use when my blood pressure randomly spikes, a problem which I unfortunately have traced back to: fuckign birth control. The metoprolol makes me feel like I'm sleep walking, and I'm bleeding two weeks early.

Blood pressure was roughly 130/90 when I woke up panicking over nothing yesterday, and had wandered down to 112/86 by the time I got in to see the doctor, so the spike was almost certainly the birth control's fault. I can't have estrogen, it's not allowed.

Do these pills fr just make ur period go on forever and always this is ridiculous actually

I’ve always sympathised but never understood women’s pains when it came to the birth control pill because from when I started for over a year I was absolutely fine, then my nurse took it upon her to change my pill and I’ve honeslty been in hell for the last couple months. Even before my pill my periods weren’t this horrifyingly painful as horrible as they were, I never spotted, my moods were fairly stable during the pack, but now I’m realising what some of you women go through on a daily basis just to make sure we don’t have a baby. ALLAAA DIss TO US when there’s a male contraceptive pill out here that has the exact same side effects but because of that it was terminated, what makes us lesser beings that it’s humanatarian to put us through this? Do we not already have to carry and birth the HUMAN? Sorry I’m ranting but

Ima go back to my nurse and ask to be put back on my previous pill this life isn’t for me

Birth control life

I would just like to say that I love my birth control! I started loestrin fe in February and it’s been a mostly wonderful experience! The first week was pretty shaky; I threw up every morning and felt miserable and both starving but couldn’t eat. And then after the first week I felt great. No weight gain, my skin cleared up, and I feel much more mentally stable! My periods are also incredibly light like crazy and only last two or three days and I've always had very VERY heavy periods with major cramps and vicious moods. I was on yaz before and I had the worst hormonal migraines and would vomit almost once a week. And then I went off it for a year and had terrible skin problems and miserable mood swings and no periods or periods that lasted for multiple weeks. Loestrin is a low hormone dose too which is great. I just wanted to post this for any birth control taking peeps to have a personal experience. And please feel free to ask any questions!
