HELLO????
Does the Discworld fandom, specifically the Monstrous Regiment people, ship Polly/Maladict????
I'm in love with them, oh my god, they are so perfect, if I go check ao3 and find nothing I'll be SO disappointed.
Also could use some Tonker/Lofty happy ending continuations
It's been a minute since I drew my girl, so here's some pre-cannon Lofty
Lofty & Tonker 🥁
"Well, er, wearing men's clothes is an Abomination unto Nuggan--"
"Why?"
"It just is," said Shufti firmly. "But--"
"--you're wearing them," said Polly.
"Well, it was the only way," said Shufti. "And I tried them on and they didn't seem all that abominable to me."
"Have you noticed men talk to you differently?" said Lofty shyly.
"Talk?" said Polly. "They listen to you differently, too."
"They don't keep looking at you all the time," said Shufti. "You know what I mean. You're just a...another person. If a girl walked down the street wearing a sword, a man would try to take it off her."
Terry Pratchett, Monstrous Regiment
My first headshot sketches of the Ins-n-Outs of Monstrous Regiment where I was mostly satisfied with the designs (minus a properly drawn Carborundum, plus extra Mals). Still fond of it, but definitely one of those "I should try redrawing this since it's been so long" things.
Found this old drawing and added a little more light and dark to it... it’s definitely old but I still like it for what it is.
