So I just reread Reaper Man, because my dad died and reading Buddhist philosophy did not help. But Discworld philosophy has informed my own so much that it seemed like a good idea, and I think it was but WOOF was it rough reading Death say "I DON'T WANT TO GO" when asked for his last words because that really seemed to be how my dad died.
I HOPE that he also felt what Windle Poons did, "great relief, and general optimism, and a feeling that on the whole everything could have been much worse."
But my real question is:
What happens to the kid? The one Death rescues from the fire and shares his life timer with? Did we find out and I cried through that paragraph?
