The dream arc really is more proof to me how the whole idea to do a 1:1 manga to anime adaption can go wrong. I loved finally seeing this arc animated but I don't want to act like I think this is the best idea for a "revival" of the series.

Dream arc is probably the worst arc I can think of when it comes to "making sense" or "flowing" together at some parts. Things are just crammed in there and it's kinda like "wait but this person was here and now they're over there?" And "Why are 9 of you just STANDING there? Do SOMETHING????"

Which the 90s anime was a real master at having the inner 4 in particular be useless as time went on. And here they're essentially handed new powerups (all of them are just handed to them pretty much).

And like that's literally how Naoko wrote it. She was supposed to stop after infinity arc and they had her keep going so she had to just revive all these characters and give them new powers quickly. I get that.

My main point is there's a way to adapt the story that makes it more actiony and make more sense and also feel like the characters earned their new powers while also keeping those manga moments that we all love to see. (Maybe even old anime moments too. I'm a best of both worlds kinda bitch.)

But I guess no one wants to do that besides super dedicated fans..... like me. 😓

Tbh I always thought what the manga DIDNT show us was important because when you're reading it's easier to say "well it's actually the next day when this happens." Or "these things seem to be happening separately but are actually simultaneous." Because it's printed and unmoving. You fill in the blanks. Can't do that when you can SEE everything happening. It gets confusing. And it's not like they were using some kind of cinematography to make you FEEL any action or story its just.......... animating well known manga panels and then making them fit together?

Anna sighed as she rolled over, staring up at the ceiling. 

The vacation had been great but now, her whole internal clock was broken. She looked over at the clock to see it nearing 3 am and groaned. 

Just great.

“Anna?” Someone groaned beside her. 

“I can’t sleep.” Anna said with a sigh. “I have to work all day tomorrow and I haven’t slept a wink.”

Strong arms wrapped around her as Kristoff kissed her temple, “I’m sorry love.”

“It’s not your fault.” Anna said, turning into his arms, “Vacations are great till they completely ruin your sleep schedule.”

“What time do you have to be in?”

“8:30.”

“What time is it now?”

“Nearly 3.”

“Shit.”

“I know.”

There was a pause and for a moment, Anna thought he had drifted off to sleep, “Well, if you can’t sleep…we could have sex?”

Anna snorted, pushing back to look up at her husband. “Very funny.”

“What?” Kristoff said with a grin. 

“Not very subtle of you.”

“Who said anything about being subtle?” Kristoff said with a wink, “Look, all I’m saying is usually you end up sleeping very hard afterward someone does a fantastic job.”

Anna laughed, “A fantastic job huh?”

“Mhmmm.”

“Says who?”

“Well, I haven’t received a complaint yet.”

“Uh huh.”

“I’d say I’ve been given a 10 out of 10 on many occasions.”

“Don’t boast yourself too much, you’ll get a big head.”

“Well…”

“Oh my GOD Kristoff.” Anna said, giggling once more as Kristoff rolled on top of her. “You’re ridiculous!”

“Mmmm, am I?” He said as he nuzzled her neck. 

“Yes, and 10 out of 10 you say?”

“Mhmm.”

“Well then,” Anna said with a grin, “Prove it.”

Today.

Today i got a call from Brianna. I’m still crazy about her. She’s in Austin. In rehab. She’s been diagnosed with being bipolar. She comes back in March. When she comes back she’s going to another rehab center. They can give her medicine and better treatment there. I’m proud of her for putting her “pride” aside. I miss her and i’m scared.

Today i finally realized that my mother disowned me. Just my mother (Jacquie) My father (Louis) and i are cool. They’re not divorced. They both live in the same house and in the same bed. See each other everyday. I have 2 siblings. Brother (Trey 26) and sister (Sommer 15) she’s a little bitch. Jacquie’s walking clone. Jacquie’s favorite kid. I don’t really know why i’m being disowned. Yeah i’m gay. I’ve had girlfriends. I’m going to college and livin life. Idk. It dosent really make sense. Maybe it’s happening now cause i don’t live there and that’s her excuse. Idk. Louis has come to see me multiple times. Just to bring me food or to watch me dance. Jacquie has never come. Louis came to my game last week. Jacquie didn’t. I thought it was cause she had work. WRONG. The bitch had the whole day off. The WHOLE fucking day off. She was with Sommer... Her and Sommer live together... I live a hour and 30 minuets away but you were with Sommer. Sommer is old enough to take care of herself. She wasn’t locked up in the house till she was 18. She has friends. She can find a ride home. LOL. But nah you gotta be with her ass 25fucking8. This weekend i have a game. Louis is coming. Where’s Jacquie? With Sommer. DRIVING HER TO DALLAS. Dallas is a 3 hour drive. A 3 FUCKING HOUR DRIVE. So she can drive 3 hours for Sommer but can’t drive a hour and 30 minuets to see me... FUCKING WOW. I’m on my college dance team. We go to nationals in April. We have two dances we compete with. My coach only picked 15-17 people to be in it. There’s 22 of us on the team. I’m in both dances... We have show offs here for the people who can’t go to nationals to see us. I told Jacquie when it was. Her ass told me. “Oh that’s when Sommer has a thing in Alabama.” LOL. Fucking Alabama. 12 hour drive. But you really can’t come see me. Doing my first nationals routine. You’re kidding. So a fucking 15 year old is more important than me... My accomplishments come second to a 15 year old. I’m not saying put me first but at least show some fucking effort to show you fucking care. LOL. My life is a fucking joke.
