My Muse,
You’ve been acting suspiciously lately. Sure, you think you can fool me, but your methods of pulling away, thinking I wouldn’t notice anything haven’t really worked. If anything, I’ve been more suspicious and have had to dig into the matter.
To be honest, I thought it was some medical issue, and I was ready to raze all doctors and hospitals to the ground so they’d heal you, but color me surprised, you’re pregnant.
Did you think I wouldn’t find out, my little minx? When I first found out, I chose to remain silent so you could surprise me. Which happened earlier tonight before you fell asleep in my arms, mumbling about wanting a girl and possible baby names.
Side note, it better be a girl who’s as feisty as you and an art genius like me. The best of both worlds.
I’ve never seen you as happy as when I hugged and kissed you and told you I’d impregnate you with a dozen children if that’s what you want. I mean it, Mia. You can have as many children as you like and I’ll protect you and them until my last breath.
I’ve seen you open your own business while still being involved with your sister on your parents’ mafia side. I’ve seen you thrive as much if not more than me while being my wife and muse and the love of my goddamn life. So I know you’ll nail being a mother just like everything else.
You’re bigger than the world while still being my whole fucking world.
You’re asleep now, but I’m off to start making you statues for every stage of your pregnancy and will add them to the whole house that’s already filled with statues of you.
A few hundred years from now, they’ll find all my creations of you and realize no man has ever loved a woman the way I love you.
To our new life together as your favorite person and the father of your children, Mrs. King
Your Mr. King,
Landon
