The Norse God Loki delivered three messages in a recent Seiðr ritual, messages that were meant not just for those in the ritual, but for all

Edit for context - I only posted this because the message really resonated with me and the reminder of building community is an important one. Hey! I just wanted to make an appreciation post for the followers of this blog. Thank you all so, so much for all your support and kindness that you’ve shown me, gosh it means so much to me.

tbh I live for the things people tag/respond whenever I bitch about Loki’s weird special taste in make-up, clothes and whatever the fuck he currently fancies. We should one day make a master-list of stuff we only own because of Loki and then have a costume ball or something...

Hail to Fauxki

Here comes the toy god Loki

You all know the one I mean

Not the cunning Lord of Lies

But he beloved by edgy teens

Sometimes he wants to cuddle

Or he'll sit with you in church

Seems he's everyones best friend

While the true god's name's besmirched

Faux-ki's the god of tumblr

Spawn of scores of creepy crush

Some are desperate to feel special

While others' brains must just be mush

Never could the shape shifter

Transform into a thing so sad

As the god who hid your ipod

So that he could make you mad

Nor would he ever be so bored

To tell you dirty jokes in class

You do not know the trickster god

Pull your head out of your ass.

Here stands the pseudo-Loki

'Stead of trickster, he's the trick

You lot would never know him

If he beat you with a stick

That he's misunderstood

May be the one thing they got right

But not by heathens, nor by gods

His own "devotees" dealt that slight

It does not mean some little prank

When Loki plays a trick

It isn't some pathetic ruse

Wasn't he who got you sick

When Loki plays his games

More oft than not somebody dies

Those blind to the trickster's ways

Will be their own goddamn demise

I guess again I'm being mean

To those who don't know any better

No, my way is not the best

Don't trust my every letter

But all the ears should listen

To the the cold hard truth I speak

For each example of Fauxki's deeds

I've heard told just this past week

But let's all hail the neutered Fauxki

God of the stupid and inane

Who plays only with the children

That drive the rest of us insane

Even though their views mean nothing

Their verbal vomit stains his name

The cruel and brutal trickster

Reduced to he who misbehaves

If these words you cannot handle

Loki's not the god for you

While I may have hurt your feelings

Lopt will break you clean in two

So heed my warning or do not

You know which one you'll do

Not knowing well the trickster

Just might be the end of you.
