i really love the way the mechanisms causally fuck around with gender. Like in udad we have Jessica Law (she/her) playing the Toy Soldier (it/its) playing Orpheus (he/him). And don't even get me started on GP Tim playing genderswapped lesbian Loki. Its beautiful and something I feel like i dont see enough
Im OBSESSED with The Bifrost Incident
Few my designs I guessssssssss
any day can be fuck you and fuck your train friday if you don't know what day it is
(+ details cuz i'm norse pagan and have to be fancy about it)
The Bifrost Incident character designs!
Some notes:
Without getting into too much detail, the idea I had was that in the past the style was more of the 80s rock scene, while in the present it’s evolved a little into the classic Memphis fashion that we all think of when we think of the 80s. If, like me, you wish there was more than just Lyf’s outfit to portray all this, you can perhaps imagine the mechs prison gang decked out in the most garish 80s style you can imagine.
Music inspo: rock music! While rock wasn’t invented in the 80s, it was a transformative time for the scene, especially for hard rock and heavy metal. It was a little hard choosing the 80s as the time period without leaning in to the psychedelic shapes and colors, especially when my mom said it didn’t look “80s enough”. I did try to incorporate some of the Lovecraftian aspect, but I think I could have done more in that sense.
The fashion style is meant to be a mix of 1000 (Norse Mythology) and 1980s (rock scene).

The Bifrost Incident has ruined me. I constantly forget that Odin and Loki are not women in the myths lmao.
was gonna clean this up more but honestly the sketchiness kinda adds to it. loki from the bifrost incident my beloved
people aren't talking about loki and sigyn from the bifrost incident enough in my opinion. c'mon guys you love it when jonathan sims narrates someone stabbing their lover in the heart, dooming them both in an attempt to save the world (which they know is doomed to fail)
