Erm, hello everyone. If you are still following after that unexpectedly long absence, I thank you and commend your loyalty and perseverance. If you chose to unfollow, I totally understand. We've been gone for a long time.

In that time, a discussion has been had, prompted by a recent message. While I am still interested in writing this (rather extensive) story, my co-writer -known here as The Captain- has lost the enthusiasm and drive to write this story. She will still consult with me on ideas, but from this point on, I will be writing solo.

So, I have been reevaluating how to tackle this tale. Chapter styles will likely change a bit in the future. For now, I have a chapter ready to post that was written an embarrassingly long time ago but had still needed to be polished. I will post it within the week, but updates after that will unfortunately be sporadic. I intend to at least finish this story, hopefully write all the stories of this universe we had planned, but it will take some time. Your patience and encouragement are greatly appreciated, and I thank you for sticking around so long.
