So first day of work was gr9. Really nice people and really nice environment - very chilled. I wasn't given anything difficult to do and I had to work on some e-resources for the uni which was really interesting - materials about moons. I'm not even kidding, it's an astrophysics course :P

There was one potentially major mishap tho - my boss is originally from Norway and quite a looker. We ended up talking about translation apps and I was showing him a few I had on my phone. Now...there were some phrases which I had stored for RPing purposes. The kinda thing no one should have to see, let alone a stranger you've only just met. I swear I almost knocked the phone out of his hand. Luckily he only saw one message which was actually a really sweet one...and he said it was the kinda thing that a bf would say to someone...and I had to make up some BS about how I was doing some translation work on a European teen website [facepalm]

I saw it on Facebook first. Because 90% of my friends are apparently crazy DC addicts.

It's mainly a handful of people from my old theatre department who suddenly decided they needed to have a say on the matter a day late.  Because clearly being in theatre means they're far better judges of casting than the professionals.

I dunno, man, not all theatre kids are annoying - some of my best and sweetest friends are from my days doing theatre - but the ones who don't do theatre because they love to do it but because they think they're better than everyone else for doing it?

They can get to be really, REALLY annoying.
