Hiya 👋 I was looking at your post and was glad to see someone agreed with me about puck! Why do you think he have such hardcore defenders and fans? Because as you said he got her drunk the show legit tells us that and we saw him supply a person with low tolerance (I assume so as Quinn wasn’t a drinker she was a “good girl”) with drink. not to mention she seemed to hate him I couldn’t see her doing it willingly. And he was a dick I rewatched and he’s actually horrible. His only good moments was for club which was for selfish reasons ( he liked club so of course he would do stuff like dresss up not to mention he was confident in sexuality!) even if we forget about sexual assault puck didn’t change so I really don’t get the appeal. Sorry for the rant I’m just so confused

this fandom tends to overlook the sexual assault cases of quick and klaine and its so frustrating lol i feel you. also i have never seen a hardcore puck defender but that can’t be good.

I would love your opinion on Quick. No one ever discusses that pair

Okay, so I'm not like actively seething with hatred when I think about Quick (like I do with certain other ships) but I also really don't like them romantically for a few reasons.

I don't think they work well together personality-wise. I totally get that opposites attract, but that only works to a certain point. Quinn seems super perfectionist and like someone with a plan and a goal in life, whilst Puck is really messy and just kinda goes with the flow and would probably hate Quinn's perfectionist and planning nature. Put them together and they'd just get on each other's nerves and wouldn't be (and weren't) very happy.

Their relationship was never really healthy. I don't remember a lot of specifics but one aspect of this is that they basically only dated whenever Quinn was in a really vulnerable position and just wanted someone. Which is just not a healthy dynamic from either side.

I feel like as a romantic partner Puck, unintentionally, brought out the worst in Quinn and just made her stressed and unhappy a lot of the time. I don't think this was Puck's fault really and it did happen the other way as well. Again, they're just incompatible romantically.

Thinking about Puck makes me sick so I don't really like to think about him with anyone.

To be clear: none of this really applies to them platonically (except the last point). As friends I have nothing against them, it's just that I really hate the idea of them being together romantically.

Send me a ship and I'll give you my (brutally) honest opinion on it.

will & terri, cooter & sheldon were meant to be toxic lmao. all couples in glee had problematic situations but in my opinion quick was by far the worst of all couples. it began as an one night stand and quinn repeatedly said the entire season she regretted it. then they spent an entire season just being hostile towards each other. they had like the baking scene that was cute and that's it. it felt like RIB just wanted to have a straight couple as endgame since finchel was no more. cringe.

I know those relationships were meant to be toxic, that’s why I said you can’t argue that they weren’t toxic lol

Also honestly I don’t even count Quick as endgame. Like we barely saw them interact in s6 and then Puck looked like he was flirting with Blaine’s mom at the wedding lmao. And obviously to each their own blah blah blah buuut yeah I think Quick was a rough ship. Like they do have some cute moments but there’s so much questionable shit surrounding them. Although there is the One Big Problem that everyone talks about that I think is a little blown out of proportion but that’s a different convo so... yeah.

To be honest, I love how Sam and Quinn were Tina and Rory during Tina’s fantasy in ‘Props’. It’s like she knew they were meant to be. Literally everyone was shocked that Quinn and Puck got back together. Even their close friends were hella confused. Two years later, and I’m still mad  about it because why the fuck would you backtrack on some fantastic character development???

Puckleberry or Quick?

Puckleberry, no question! I don’t ship Quinn and Puck. I like them as friends and don’t mind them in fanfics or roleplays, but in canon? Hell no. I also feel like Puck always treated Rachel way better than Quinn (e.g. by standing up for her when no one else did, stopping her from getting a nose job or just always doing whatever she asked him to). Quinn and Puck pretty much only insulted each other and rarely showed any signs of affection and that reunion in s5 was just stupid, so yeah^^ 

also this is not supposed to be hate and if you ship Quick then that’s totally fine too, I’m just expressing my opinion lol ok good bye

I’m sorry, but if my little sister came home and told me a guy had sex with her without a condom, even though she told him to use one, I’d be through the fucking roof. I’d be marching over to his house to fucking fight him, I’d make sure he wouldn't see the light of day ever again. I wouldn’t defend him. And I hope to god quick shippers would be the same, because all they do is defend Puck for doing this.

Ship Quick all you want, but don’t try defending Puck’s actions.
