Seraphine Duchannes

Larrisa first met Seraphine in New Orleans. Seraphine was a Ilvermorny graduate and was well on her way to becoming a magizoologist, hoping to specialize in dragons. To this day-Larrisa still says that Seraphine is the bravest wix she has ever met. It took a long time for the two to get along, Seraphine initially found Larrisa’s quiet demeanor boring. But after a few drinks and bar stool chats, both witches realized there was more to the other. They needed each other in a different way. Larrisa kept Seraphine level-headed and grounded while Seraphine made sure the Auror-in-training got out of her own head every now and then.

Seraphine was gone a lot during Larrisa’s time at the academy, but she always popped in for a visit when she could. Now that she’s in New York, Larrisa hasn’t seen the other woman in a while, but the two keep in touch and are planning their next bar date.

Molina’s, Sleeping Wyvern

Molina’s: Describe a pet your character has had now or in the past.

When Jonathan turned eleven and started attending Ilvermorny, his dad and Uncle bought him a perfectly white cat. His name was Chester and he had the cutest pink nose. He was fiercely loyal to Jonathan but passed away in 1947 due to old age. He was one of Jonathan’s best friends and he hasn’t had another pet since. 

Sleeping Wyvern: A time in your character’s life where something happened they couldn’t explain.

One night after a long mission tracking down a known dark wizard. Jonathan came home to his small flat. He placed his keys down on the counter and went to bed. When he woke up the next morning, the keys were not on the counter. Instead, they were on the pillow beside him in bed. He could not explain how this had happened after he distinctly remembered putting them on the counter. He was used to routine, it kept him sane. That is why it through him off even more that the keys were not where they should be.

New York Ghost: What kind of gossip has been spread about your character.

“Gossip is so awful! Everyone knows I don’t listen to that. Most people used to say I was just a spoiled rich kid that wasn’t going to make it behind my back. Joke’s on them, though. I’ve always thought success is the best revenge, so I suppose I’ll just keep moving forward and people can say whatever they want.”

Stockton’s: Your character’s skill, or lack thereof, in potions.

“I’d say I’m quite talented when it comes to potion making, mostly because my parents would kill me if I weren’t. I’ve watched them brewing since I was a little girl so of course some of that rubbed off on me. My sister, however? She’s a genius. You should meet her, she’s going to be the best potion maker of our generation, I’m sure of that.”
