I'm currently laughing at the pens pathetic start of the season.

Their powerplay has been absolutely pathetic and I've been joking with @naanima that if they don't get scored on while on the man advantage, I will count that as a win. And now, they let in a shortie 13 seconds before the end of the game.

Really, the entire team has been a mess, and this, despite, massive improvement up and down the roster.

This isn't a player issue, it's a systemic issue, it's a coaching issue. I love sully, but he has outlived his effectiveness at the pens.

I remember joking with @naanima after we got dubas, after we improved our roster, after we got karlsson, that the only thing we were missing was a midseason coaching change (and immediately felt bad afterwards because I LIKE sully).

After all, the pens have won the cup twice after midseason coaching changes. And when the entire team isn't playing to their potential, that means the coach has to go.

Dubas, time to do some GMing.

hello... you. plenty of people came into the book store every day and yet none had caught his attention quite like her. this might be LA but he told himself that he wasn't going to get pulled into this situation again. he was going to wait and find love, his love... well, the love carrying his child and then he was going to have this child in his life with or without her. joe knew what growing up with only one parent could do, it caused damage... damage people couldn't dream of but if he had too? if it meant keeping this baby safe? he would do it alone... or maybe not. his eyes drifting to the female, a female that felt familiar even though she couldn't possibly be. he hadn't seen her before and yet... it felt right... like he was supposed to meet her right here and now. "hello." approaching cautiously with a book in his hand as he flashed her his friendly half-smile. “the vow?” glancing down at the book that had been written after the movie with... god was it channing tatum? cringe-fest. unless he was completely wrong about this woman. it didn’t feel like her speed at all and he was rarely ever wrong. joe goldberg knew how to read people. “can i interest you in something you will actually enjoy reading?”
