agreed with everything you said and how brexit is horribly calamitous but new york doesn't run itself under its own rules. New York is a state, you're referring to New York City. And New York City & New York have to follow the same rules as every other city/state. The constitution is the supreme law of the land and NYC doesn't get special treatment like Hong Kong or anything. Just wanted to clear that up! Hope i dont sound pompous or superior!
No, you don’t! Ah, okay... I think it’s just the comparison between NYC being given freer control over its economical hub than elsewhere and London being completely controlled by Westminster, rather than its Mayor having any budgetary control.
