I just realised that I do not need to sleep for 9, 10, 11 hours, I just need to have the idea and the freedom to sleep for as long as I want before I go to sleep

VAMPIRE LONG NAPPING: EARTHQUAKES, FLOODS, COMAS
It would be super fucking funny to be vampire long napping in the middle of an earthquake. Would they even wake up?
I'm pretty sure it doesn't feel like a bumpy motorized water bed. Or maybe it does.
Good thing nobody decided to nap in California. Or along a tectonic plate in the mountains.
It would also be funny if a vampire took a long underground nap somewhere and woke up to discover they were underwater when they dug out.
Or they get flooded and end up unburied.
Or whoops, they randomly get excavated as part of a archeology dig or worse...to build a parking lot for a grocery store.
Or someone finds them, thinks they're just in a deep coma, and hooks them up to an iv and/or breathing machine in the hospital in a room with no windows. And they come to under a bunch of florescent lights at night. It's a mysterious medical miracle!
Or they wake up in the in the morgue. The coroner had an unexpected death while investigating an unexpected death!
